Act and Senate Bill 198
To Every Employee:
This company has a moral obligation as directed by California Senate Bill 198 to ensure that our employees are not injured or become ill as a result of performing their job duties working for our company.
It is our intent to implement and enforce all provisions of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program as mandated by the California Occupational Safety and Health Act. It is expected that every employee will perform every operation in a safe manner so that they do not injure themselves, other employees or members of the public. Any injury / illness to any employee or member of the public will be considered a serious violation of the Safety Program of this company.
Each employee will read our Injury and Illness Prevention Program, maintain a copy for their periodic review and agree to the terms and conditions of the program.
It is our desire and intention to help provide every employee with a safe and comfortable working environment to enhance the employee’s performance and job satisfaction so as to mutually benefit the employee, their family, and this organization.
